Stephanie Romm grew up in New York City and has been performing ever since she can remember. The stage has always been a natural environment to her. From her first appearances in talent shows at her beach club, to community plays, she has always loved performing. Stephanie studied basic guitar and piano, but her love was singing. Throughout high school, she performed with local bands and kept herself busy in chorus work at school. She went on to get her BA in applied voice at S.U.N.Y. College at New Paltz, while continuing to perform in local bands. During this period, she recorded a disco single with RCA entitled “Keep it Up” that made the hot 100 on BILLBOARD. In 1988 she put together a stage “cabaret” show where she and her partner performed all over the Catskill hotels.To this day, Stephanie still performs her “one woman cabaret show” encompassing songs form the 30’s to the 80’s performing songs from classic Broadway stage and screen and time tested greats on regular basis. For the past nine years, Stephanie also performs as a lead singer with The Bronx Expressway Band. It is a premier Party band in the Hudson Valley area!
Eddie Raia has been a Professional Bass Player and Lead Vocalist for well over 50 years now having played with many a premier group and assorted well known national acts in countless venues! He has covered many styles of music from Country, Rock, Disco, Pop, Oldies and Motown! He was born on December 05, 1951 and grew up in the late 50’s and early 60’s on the streets of the Bronx NY during the hay day of American Music. He is well known for his sense of humor, love of life and strives in all things to try to be a good man. Eddie has opened up for many National acts during his career such as Clint Black, Phil Vassar, The Drifters, The Coasters, Johnny Maestro, The Shirelles, The Marvelettes, The Vandellas and more! He brings a unique quality to the band.
Charlie Staxx is a keyboard player and singer-songwriter extraordinaire who is well known to the Hudson Valley New York area. Before playing in bands, Charlie had performed in comedy clubs in New York City with a comedy troupe called “The Thorazine Workshop.” His musical influences are vast and he has been influenced by many great artists such as Leon Russell, Billy Preston, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dr. John, Little Richard, Huey “Piano” Smith, Floyd Kramer, Johnny Johnson, and Elton John. In addition to being a fan of Randy Newman, Tom Waits, Louden Wainright and Billy Joel. He also has either won or been a finalist in a number of national songwriting contests, including the American Song Festival, the BMI New York City Songwriters competition, and the USA National Songwriters contest. He has performed on multiple stages all over the Northeast, the Midwest and Canada, including venues such as New York’s Bottom Line, Lonestar Cafe, Radio City Music Hall, and the Hudson River Clearwater Revival. Charlie has sung and/or recorded with Eddie Money, Rick Danko, Jorma Kaukonen and Hot Tuna, John Sebastian, Mick Ronson and Father Guido Sarducci(!). His Concert openers and Club appearances have been with such acts as diverse as Robert Palmer, Roy Orbison, Levon Helm, Todd Rundgren, Three Dog Night, Leon Russell, NRBQ, the Dell Vikings, Sha-Na-Na, Rich Little, Dr. John, Kathy Mattea, Southside Johnny and the Jukes, Tony Williams & the Platters, the Jive Five, Spyro Gyra, Chubby Checker, and more! Charlie has also done extensive jingle work for WNBC in New York City, WCZX in Poughkeepsie, and he has even appeared on WNBC radio on the Soupy Sales show many times! Having collaborated with local musicians he has even gone onto the New York/New England State level competition of a nationally sponsored Pepsi / Tru Value Hardware “Country Music Showdown being one of the finalists performing on a nationally broadcast radio show
